TARGET POPULATION

GLG surveyed 80 marketing leads based in the US, Europe and Australia. This is the third iteration in this series.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • The survey analysed the strengths, weaknesses and use cases of Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, X (F.K.A Twitter), Google Ads, Amazon, TikTok and Trade Desk in digital strategy.
  • Respondents commented on the vendors they use, their budgets for these and how budget allocation has changed over time as well as the expectations of growth for these vendors.
  • Lastly, the research captured respondents’ views on loss of third-party cookies and how this may affect budget and ROI.

Examples of findings:

  • Almost seven-in-ten (69%) expect Google advertising to grow the most in the next 2 years, X-Ads is least expected to grow (1%).
  • Nearly three-quarters (74%) of TikTok advertising users increased their budget in 2023 compared to 2022, on the other hand over six-in-ten (63%) reduced their budget for X-Ads.
  • Google Ads is still the platform delivering the highest ROI satisfaction (59%), however, satisfaction level is at its lowest compared to previous years.
