A client based in Greater China wanted to understand the product performance and key differences between Chinese and international brands of surgical robots, and to explore buyers’ key purchasing criteria and relevant feedback for surgical robotics.
The GLG Approach
The GLG team targeted 30 chief or deputy chief physicians specializing in urology, general surgery, thoracic surgery, gynecology, or gastrointestinal surgery at hospitals across China, with specific experience using several well-known brands of surgical robots, to uncover their experience with each brand. An expert in the surgical robotics field was invited to review the research questionnaire and provide knowledge of the medical field in China.
