Director, Data Integrations

Experience Level: Senior

Reporting to the Director, Data Integrations will be an evangelist and change agent to drive GLG’s modernization and digital transformation. This individual will partner closely with senior stakeholders to set a vision and collaborate with our Engineering team to pioneer and implement best-in-class tools, strategies & processes to foster a high-growth, scalable, data driven organization.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for enterprise data integration, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and driving data-driven decision-making.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of data integration specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • System Integration Oversight: Oversee the design, development, and implementation of data integration processes and solutions, ensuring seamless integration of internal and external systems.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including IT, analytics, and business units, to understand data needs and deliver scalable and efficient integration solutions.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Establish and enforce data integration best practices, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Extensive Experience: Proven track record of 8+ years in data integration, system architecture, or related fields, including at least 5 years of hands-on Workday integration experience with a strong focus on Workday ERP and Prism Analytics.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of integration platforms, APIs, ETL processes, and enterprise data management tools (e.g., Workato, Airflow, MuleSoft, or Talend), with a demonstrated ability to build robust integrations for Workday ERP.
  • Workday Prism Analytics: Hands-on experience with Workday Prism, including data ingestion, data modeling, transformation logic, and the configuration of Prism’s security framework for secure and efficient analytics.
  • ERP and CRM Implementation Experience: Hands-on experience implementing and managing ERP and CRM systems, particularly Workday ERP and Salesforce (SFDC). This includes leading full lifecycle implementation projects, customizing modules, integrating with external systems (via Prism and other tools), and driving user adoption through training and support.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage diverse, cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, while working effectively with cross-regional teams.
  • Strategic Mindset: Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities, with a focus on scalable architecture, automation, and innovation in Workday-centric data ecosystems.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both technical and non-technical stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT functions.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
