GLG’s Industrials and Growth Research business serves clients in sectors such as industrials, chemicals, minerals, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and retail, equipping them with critical insights for informed decision-making and successful investments. By leveraging both quantitative and qualitative research capabilities, we deliver timely and thorough insights that empower our clients.

Position Overview: Engagement Manager

GLG is seeking an Engagement Manager to drive success within its Research business, focusing on Industrials and Growth clients. In this role, you will design research projects tailored to GLG’s sophisticated client base and oversee a team to execute these projects to the highest standards. Projects typically involve qualifying and quantifying industry trends through pipeline analyses, commercial assessments, product forecasting, and marketplace investigations. You will be motivated to execute research design rapidly across diverse topics, mentor junior professionals, and cultivate client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead the execution and delivery of customized survey products for Industrials and Growth clients.

· Ensure commercial success through client interactions and project delivery excellence.

· Train and mentor early-career research professionals.

· Collaborate with clients and internal teams to enhance awareness of GLG QI’s capabilities.

· Develop and implement best practices for project execution.

· Monitor and manage the health of key client accounts.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree or higher.

· 4-6 years of market research and survey experience, including proficiency with online survey platforms (e.g., Decipher, Qualtrics).

· Experience in a client-facing role.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Market research experience in industrials, chemicals, minerals, CPG, or retail.

· Ability to analyze results and communicate quantitative methodologies.

· Familiarity with statistical techniques.

· Experience leading teams and mentoring junior members.

· Proven track record in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, client-servicing environment.

· Strong understanding of the Industrials or related Growth industries.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

 

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$77,200$95,000 USD
