Senior Associate - Surveys (Healthcare Focus)

Experience Level: Junior

The Survey Team is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of market research projects across various industry verticals, population geographies, and client types. The Survey Team drives the execution of multiple research projects per month. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to prioritise and multi-task, excellent written and verbal communication skills, a keen analytic outlook, as well as a passion for creative problem solving, client service and project management.

GLG is seeking a highly-motivated and enthusiastic Survey Senior Associate with experience of conducting surveys in the healthcare space (e.g. Pharma/ bio-tech / med-tech space etc.), to join the Survey Team in London, which sits within the Public Equities and Credit unit at GLG. The role will have a particular focus on clients who conduct regular research in the Healthcare sector.

The successful candidate will also possess knowledge across different healthcare-related topics/themes, and possess a strong appetite for researching new healthcare topics, in line with the key industry trends and changing landscape.

The Survey Senior Associate will be responsible for the creation and execution of market research projects that help clients qualify and quantify industry/market trends through commercial assessments, product forecasting, and general marketplace analysis.

 

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

- Navigate market research requests with complex requirements and client-specific preferences

- Design and facilitate customised market research projects targeting specialised topics and populations

- Oversee data collection, quality review, manage quotas/ targets, liaise with third party vendors and manage project budgets and timelines

- Establish and build strong working relationships with colleagues, partners, and clients

- Please note that this role does not involve developing reports for presenting back to clients.

 

An ideal candidate will have the following:

- 1-3 years of healthcare market research and survey design experience, including experience with online survey platforms

- Experience collaborating with team-members in a high-throughput, deadline-driven, process-oriented, client-servicing environment

- Experience of running end-to-end projects in the Healthcare space

- Demonstrated experience with questionnaire and survey writing/programming (e.g. experience with Decipher)

- Experience analysing results and/or communicating market research results to stakeholders

- Superior writing, logic and interaction skills; including oral and organisational skills

- Proven ability to work in a rigorous, fast-moving environment

- Excellent conceptual and analytic skills

- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise, identify and solve problems

- Strong problem-solving skills

- Bachelors degree or above or equivalent work experience

- Full business proficiency in English
