SURVEY DETAILS
TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 senior executives working in the wind power industry across the US and Europe. This is the fifth iteration in this tracker series.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents shared insights into the wind turbine market landscape, including preferred OEMs, major suppliers, and the satisfaction levels of turbine purchasers.
  • Furthermore, the survey examined key aspects of turbine performance, OEM assistance quality, TSA process ratings, and expert perceptions of AEP estimates.
  • Lastly, the research looked at warranty structures in the industry, covering the duration, satisfaction levels, and differences in power production estimates between OEMs and third-party providers.

Examples of findings:

  • Over eight-in-ten (82%) reported that it is likely or very likely they will purchase from Vestas in the future.
  • Over two-in-five (41%) experts stated that the quality of the OEM assistance on turbine replacement is good.
  • Close to half (46%) of respondents are moderately satisfied with their power curve warranties.
