TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 3000 consumers of nutraceuticals across US, Europe and APAC.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Consumers of nutraceuticals provided an overview of their purchase and consumption patterns including nutraceuticals consumed, factors considered before purchasing and typical spend per month.
  • The research also looked into the customer preferences for type of formula, nutraceutical formats consumed, trust in local vs imported brands as well as willingness to pay premium for clinically backed ingredients.
  • Lastly, the survey captured the competitive landscape in the industry, looking into the brands that the consumers are using, satisfaction with the brands and reason for dissatisfaction.

Examples of findings:

  • Close to seven-in-ten (68%) stated they check supplement labels before purchasing.
  • Over four-in-ten (44%) have an equal trust in both local and imported nutraceuticals products.
  • Close to one-quarter of consumers are currently using Herbalife (24%) and Nestl√©’s (23%) nutraceuticals.

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Doron Safrai, former Chief Executive Officer at Capsoil Foodtech.

If the survey is not included within your subscription, GLG will invoice Client for the fees due for the Network Survey. Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the Network Survey.
