GLG surveyed 80 users of payroll software across the US, UK, Italy, France, Germany, Spain and Australia.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents commented on the payroll software providers they are currently using, as well as the important factors and reasons for selection of their payroll software over a competitor.
  • Further, the research gathered experts’ satisfaction with their payroll software, likelihood to switch, additional features offered by their payroll software and their importance in the business, as well as captured their views on expected growth and consolidation in the industry.
  • Lastly, the survey looked into the competitive landscape in the payroll software market, assessing the major providers on the basis of ease of use, features and functionalities, pricing, quality of customer support, integration capabilities, and security & compliance.

Examples of findings:

  • Close to two-thirds (63%) of experts agree that employee self-service is the most important feature in their payroll software.
  • QuickBooks is regarded as the best provider across all basis, i.e. ease of use (33%), features and functionalities (39%), pricing (23%), quality of customer support (19%), integration capabilities (29%), and security & compliance (36%).
  • Two-in-three (66%) respondents declared they are ‘satisfied’ or ‘extremely satisfied’ with their current payroll software, only one-in-ten (10%) reported to be dissatisfied.

Deliverables

Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the Network Survey.
