GLG surveyed 70 physicians across the US and Europe (UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents commented on the overview of the IVD market, including the key players, their differentiating attributes, key customers and geographies in the industry, as well as products/services bringing the highest revenue to the industry.
  • The research also looked into the selection of IVD providers including deciding factors, preference for global vs local players and important product aspects.
  • Lastly, the survey gathered views on the future outlook of the industry in terms of growth expected, as well as the key barriers and key trends limiting/driving future growth.

Examples of findings:

  • Quality is the main differentiating attribute for all key players, except for Thermo Fisher whose scientific offerings stand out.
  • Nearly four-in-ten (39%) state quality is the most important factor when selecting an IVD provider, three-in-ten (30%) experts declare it is cost.
  • Nearly three-quarters (74%) expect IVD market size to grow in the next 5 years, just over two-in-five (41%) believe the increase to be between 20% ‚Äì 39.9%.

Deliverables
