Tariffs have become a pivotal factor in global trade, significantly influencing industries reliant on international supply chains including the chemical sector. Join us for a complimentary webcast where Paul Hodges will explore how tariffs may impact the US and European chemical industry, analyzing key areas including:

  • Higher costs and supply chain strains due to increased prices of imported raw materials and intermediates
  • Production shifts and sourcing changes such as manufacturing relocation, sourcing from tariff-exempt countries, or prioritizing domestic suppliers to avoid trade barriers
  • Downstream industry implications in dependent sectors (e.g., auto, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, plastics)
  • Possible long-term strategic shifts including industry restructuring, mergers, R&D in alternative materials (e.g., bio-based chemicals), and investments in trade-friendly regions

Paul Hodges is currently a Chairman at New Normal Consulting, Infinity Recycling, and Nitech Solutions Ltd.
