UI Designer

Experience Level: Mid

 

 We are seeking a highly skilled and creative UI Designer to join our team. As a UI Designer you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact across various GLG products and platforms, creating visually stunning experiences for over 1 million users. Your creativity and design expertise will play a key role in shaping our brand and enhancing user engagement.  

 The UI  Designer will collaborate closely with our UX Designers to transform wireframes into pixel-perfect design solutions. This role requires a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics, and the ability to ensure visual consistency across all applications. The ideal candidate will also maintain and enhance our design system, while working seamlessly with developers to bring designs to life.  

  

  • 5+ years of experience in UI Design, with a strong portfolio showcasing pixel-perfect design solutions and a keen eye for detail. 
  • Proficiency working on enterprise-level design systems and component-based design. 
  • Maintain visual coherency and a consistent design language across all digital touchpoints, aligning with the brand’s identity and guidelines.  
  • Develop high-fidelity wireframes provided by UX Designers, ensuring consistency and quality across all applications.  
  • Work closely with front-end developers to ensure design fidelity and seamless integration of visual elements into the final product.  
  • Create, maintain, and enhance the design system to ensure reusable and scalable design components.  
  • Familiarity with front-end development to bridge the gap between design and development, ensuring feasibility of design solutions and effective translation from design to code.  
  • Strong ability to collaborate with internal teams to define user interface requirements.  
  • Proficiency in industry standard tools such as Figma, Axure, Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.  

Requirements: 

  • Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.  
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating pixel-perfect visual designs, design system contributions and experience working with front-end development.  
  • Familiarity with agile and scrum methodologies.  
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring high-quality and precise design deliverables. 
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams  
  • Adaptability to handle multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adjust to shifting priorities.  
  • Up to date with industry trends, tools and technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliver cutting-edge solutions.  
  • A thorough understanding of accessibility requirements, best practices and associated compliance standards.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$98,400$130,000 USD
