Account Director: Professional Services

Experience Level: Senior

 

The Account Director is a key client-facing role managing relationships with large Strategy Consulting firms on a Global basis.

The successful candidate will have full accountability for one of GLG’s largest revenue & fastest growing accounts with direct oversight of a dedicated global client servicing & business development team. This individual will serve as the primary client lead & go-to, responsible for setting the strategic direction of the account and driving accelerated partnership & performance.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Client engagement & expansion at a global level
  • Active role in the negotiation of renewal terms & commercial decision making
  • Key POC for the account’s internal engagement team
  • Confidently leading client QBR content & discussion
  • Identifying revenue opportunities aligned with client needs  
  • Oversight and direct accountability for the performance of a fast-expanding global client servicing team (including capacity planning & management)
  • Internal, data-driven reporting of account progress & team performance
  • Regular engagement with internal stakeholders (finance, operations, legal, compliance, HR etc.)

 

Qualifications:

 

  • 12+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in a Tier 1 consulting firm.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience building & managing high-performing teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop workflow & operating frameworks in a high-growth environment.
  • Deep understanding of consultant research requirements.
  • Exceptional communication & influential verbal skills, with the ability to develop meaningful and lasting relationships with clients & team members.

Compensation: GLG is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. Certain roles may also be eligible for incentive compensation.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this role is:
$171,210$250,000 USD
