Earns top score for best-in-class policies, benefits, cultural inclusiveness, and social impact

New York, New York; January 28, 2021 – GLG, the world’s insight network, has earned a score of 100 percent on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) 2021 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmark of corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. HRC has designated GLG as a “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality” alongside many of the world’s top businesses. The full report is available online at www.hrc.org/cei.

The CEI is an annual initiative of the Human Rights Campaign, the largest LGBTQ civil rights organization in the world. The CEI rigorously assesses company performance on a range of criteria under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families, inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility work.

“GLG delivers the highest levels of performance for our clients. To do that, we recognize that we can only be the best for our clients if we create a working environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive and be their best professional self,” said GLG CEO Paul Todd. “We’re honored to be recognized by the Human Rights Campaign for our commitment to LGBTQ workplace fairness and inclusivity, and encouraged by the business community’s growing dedication to equality more broadly. Much works remains to be done.”

A commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is at the heart of GLG’s policies and cultural values. It is also a critical driver of GLG’s award-winning Social Impact work, which delivers GLG’s platform and services to the social sector. GLG Social Impact has provided pro bono support to myriad LGBTQ advocacy and support organizations, including GLG Social Impact Fellow The Trevor Project, as well participation and contributions to annual Pride celebrations and other events.

“GLG’s top score on HRC’s CEI Index is an important recognition of our commitment to our employees, clients, and experts,” said GLG Chief Diversity Officer Desiree Dancy. “And of course, our work in pursuit of a truly diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace and world is far from finished. We’re committed to continuing to do everything possible to drive progress on these issues.”
