Former SEC Official to Oversee Best-in-Class Compliance Organization
New York, New York; June 15, 2017 — GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc.), the world’s leading membership for professional learning, today announced that Jonathan Scott will join the firm as Chief Compliance Officer.
Scott comes to GLG after more than a decade at the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC). Most recently, he was an Assistant Regional Director in the Division of Enforcement and FCPA Unit at the SEC. Prior to working at the SEC, he was an attorney at the law firm of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP and clerked for U.S. District Court Judge Stanley Sporkin. Scott received his JD summa cum laude from Washington College of Law at American University (where he later served as an adjunct professor), and received a BS in Journalism from Boston University.
