New York, New York; November 11, 2015 — GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc.) announced today that it has been approved by the CFA Institute, which confers the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, to provide continuing education (CE) credits to CFA Institute members at GLG client firms. GLG is the world’s leading platform for professional learning, connecting top companies, consultancies, and investors to its more than 425,000 members and other experts. GLG client firms include many of the top employers of CFA Institute members.
“This partnership with the CFA Institute reflects our continued commitment to helping the world’s top professionals learn,” said GLG Head of North American Financial Services James Sharpe. “Providing CFA continuing education credits demonstrates and formalizes our commitment to supporting investment professionals in all the ways they need to learn.”
CFA Institute members are encouraged to complete 20 hours of CE credits annually. When Institute members RSVP to GLG events with their CFA Member IDs, their credits will automatically be logged into their CFA accounts. In 2014, GLG hosted more than 2,400 events around the world, including nearly 300 that would be eligible for CFA Institute CE credits.
