Leading Professional Learning Platform Growing Rapidly in Korea and Across APAC

Seoul, Korea; June 29, 2018 — GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc.), the world’s leading platform connecting business to insight, announced today that it has expanded its location in Seoul, moving to a new office that is twice as large as its current space.

GLG is the world’s leading platform for on-demand professional learning, linking thousands of clients to its global network of more than 600,000 subject-matter experts across every sector, including business leaders, scientists, and academics. Headquartered in New York, GLG’s more than 1,500 employees work from offices in 12 countries. Its APAC headquarters is in Hong Kong.

“GLG provides learning opportunities to help top professionals and their organizations achieve their most ambitious goals,” said GLG Managing Director and Head of Asia-Pacific Evan Auyang. “Our business in Seoul is growing rapidly, as clients see our platform as an essential tool. This expanded office positions us for the next wave of growth in Korea.”

GLG will move from the 23rd floor of the Seoul Financial Center to the 28th floor of the same building. The new space occupies 8,454 square feet (785.66 square meters), with room to accommodate 50 employees. The expanded space enhances GLG’s capacity to provide industry experts to engage with its clients in Seoul through a diversified range of products, from customized in-person engagements and roundtables; to quantitative insights; to roadshows on trending topics, site-visits, and virtual events.

“Korea’s dense concentration of industry-leading corporations and professionals makes it an ideal market for GLG’s on-demand learning platform,” said GLG Managing Director and Head of Korea Jiyoung Chung. “The global reach of our network makes us a key partner for Korean corporates’ global growth. With this new, expanded office in the heart of Seoul, we continue to invest in our ability to deliver the outstanding service our clients and experts have come to expect.”

GLG’s Seoul office, like many GLG offices around the world, features activity-based working, which enhances flexibility by providing different types of private meeting and collaboration spaces, a wellness room, a café, standing desks, and phone booths. The company pioneered this approach with its groundbreaking New York headquarters in 2014, designed by Clive Wilkinson, and activity-based working is also featured in its Austin, London, and Hong Kong hubs, as well as other GLG offices worldwide.
