Boston, Massachusetts; May 26, 2016 — GLG (Gerson Lehrman Group, Inc.) today announced the opening of its new Boston office, supporting the company’s continued growth in the region and extending the firm’s long-term commitment here. GLG, the world’s leading platform for professional learning and expertise, continues to grow in revenue, activity, and headcount, including in the Northeast region. The new location keeps GLG in the heart of Boston’s financial district and allows the firm to expand its local footprint over the course of the long-term lease.
“Our mission is to transform the way the world’s top professionals share expertise and learn. Many leading professionals are in Boston and we’re proud to continue serving them,” said GLG President and CEO Alexander Saint-Amand. “We’re excited about our investments and our future here.”
GLG’s new Boston space is in the Winhall Companies’ Two Liberty Square building, just off Post Office Square. While increasing space efficiency, the office will allow GLG to grow its Boston headcount by more than 20 percent. GLG opened its first office in Boston in 2002.
“Boston has always been home to leading innovators across industries and the academy, so it’s fertile ground for our learning mission,” added Darin Clemente, who leads the GLG Boston office as Head of Regional Business Development for North American Financial Services clients.
GLG was founded to serve professionals who needed perspective they couldn’t find in one-size-fits-all industry reports, courses, or conferences. Today GLG facilitates thousands of connections a week between the world’s leading investors, entrepreneurs, corporations, consulting firms, nonprofits, and startups and its membership of 425,000 policy specialists, academics, engineers, former C-level managers, professional leaders, and other subject matter experts.
The new GLG Boston office is located at 2 Liberty Square, 3rd Floor, Boston, MA 02109.
