GLG Celebrates Social Impact and Community in London

GLG

April 09, 2018

On Monday, April 9, 2018, an event in London was held to celebrate GLG’s Social Impact program and commitment to service. An overflow crowd packed the Soho Hotel for a series of panel discussions featuring GLG senior leaders, employees, and past and current GLG Social Impact Fellows.

The program kicked off with a conversation between CEO Paul Todd, Managing Director of EMEA Paul Ciraolo, and GLG Social Impact Director Jen Field about the critical role impact and community work plays both at GLG and in the business community at large. Jen then moderated a panel with Global Head of Human Resources Melinda Wolfe and GLGers Nick Scott and Florence Walsh who shared their experiences with GLG’s Social Impact program and community service initiatives. The final panel featured Social Impact Fellows Josh MacAlister (Frontline), Misan Rewane (WAVE), and Jake Wood (Team Rubicon). The Fellows discussed their work, as well as the ways GLG has helped answer some of their organizations’ toughest and most pressing questions. Social Impact Senior Program Manager Rachel Wald moderated.

The evening concluded with a reception that brought together Fellows, senior leaders, and employees from the GLG London office.
