Associate: 3 years of consulting experience and 1-3 years industry experience. Project Lead: 3-5 years of consulting experience and 3+ years industry experience. Partner: former Senior Manager, Partner, or Director at a consulting firm with 5+ years industry experience.

Independent consultants are chosen based on how well their experience matches client and project needs. We’ll reach out to discuss your interest and availability before presenting a team to the client. Usually consultants are staffed from the proposal stage to project completion for continuity.

What is the compensation structure?

During enrollment we discuss your experience and can recommend a day rate based on similar backgrounds of consultants in our network. Depending on client need, budget, and the difficulty of a project, we may present opportunities outside of your typical range, but you always have the option to accept or decline an opportunity.

What GLG resources may an engagement team access?

To help you craft valuable deliverables you will leverage consultations with GLG experts identified by our Research team; you will partner with senior industry leaders and internal GLG client managers; you will have access to research reports; and you will have access to GLG’s Survey team, which has design and analytical capabilities.
