Analyst, Accounts Receivable (5 PM to 2 AM)

Experience Level: Junior

We are currently looking for an Accounts Receivable/Collection Analyst to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent customer service as well as strong communication skills. This role will report to the Accounts Receivable Senior Manager within the Accounting Department, and will focus primarily on contacting clients and collecting outstanding payments. The Accounts Receivable/Collection Analyst will also support the accounting department by assisting in answering clients’ questions, working with the Sales team and helping in the closing process.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic, global organization, for a qualified individual who shares our values of learning and curiosity, responsibility, fresh perspectives, and integrity.

Position Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Monitor accounts daily and take action to encourage timely payments by customers
  • Contact customers to discuss overdue payments and maintain records of promises to pay
  • Monitor bi-directional correspondence in a fast paced, goal-oriented environment utilizing our collection system (Lockstep)
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies
  • Coordinating with Sales professionals on follow-up efforts and Client refunds
  • Entering Cash Receipts/Applying Credits on account
  • Month end bank reconciliation
  • Assist in A/R reporting

Position Requirement:

  • Around 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Graduation in commerce or accounting.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks at one time.
  • Must be customer-service oriented with excellent communications skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships across the Company's operations.
  • Experience with Workday, Great Plains, Lockstep, Salesforce excel is a plus.
