EMEA Training Specialist

Experience Level: Mid

The GLG Commercial Operations “Training Academy” is seeking a highly motivated, engaged, and collaborative leader to run our role-specific onboarding programs for the EMEA region. The global “Training Academy” oversees onboarding and job-specific training programs for Client Services professionals at GLG, helping welcome new hires to the company and train them on best practices. This individual will be responsible for the end-to-end execution of the Senior Associate Onboarding Program for the EMEA region.  

 

The program leader will be responsible for training cohorts of new hires on all aspects of GLG project and recruiting workflows. They will be the key point of contact for welcoming the new hires and teaching them the critical tactical and soft skills required for success as a client service professional. An ideal candidate is passionate about training, loves working with new hires, is willing to quickly learn and master GLG’s workflows and values and is excited by the idea of continuous change and problem-solving.  

 

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 

  • Own the end-to-end Senior Associate onboarding program in EMEA, including:  
  • Ideating and executing on program design and structure 
  • Owning the logistics of setting up and managing the program  
  • Creating training content that aligns with GLG best practices  
  • Serving as the lead facilitator for training sessions  
  • Liaising with business leads and teams to create an excellent new hire experience  
  • Partnering with Talent Development and HR teams on early career development and upskilling 
  • Soliciting, reviewing, and acting upon feedback from business leaders, TLs, Ambassadors, and new hires  
  • Support business asks related to ad-hoc training and upskilling for teams  
  • Provide select coaching and support for Senior Associates 

An ideal candidate will have the following: 

  • 1-3 years of corporate training experience  
  • Strong coaching or mentoring skills and passion for training individuals 
  • Demonstrated poise and confidence when under pressure 
  • Self-driven and persistent attitude; can accomplish tasks with minimal oversight 
  • Ability to balance multiple and conflicting priorities 
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, verbal, and active listening 
  • Exceptional organization skills, with impeccable attention to detail 
  • Team player attitude, with the ability to create excellent working relationships 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change
