Challenge
A GLG client needed to evaluate a stock trading and investment platform to understand its current and past user experiences, the user decision-making process, and to identify key strengths and weaknesses in order to assess its growth potential.
The GLG Approach
Based on the client’s needs, the GLG project team matched 10 different representative platform users for in-depth one-on-one interviews. In addition, GLG designed a questionnaire to collect more than 500 valid samples for existing users and lost users for comprehensive quantitative analysis.
Outcome
GLG delivered a comprehensive research report based on the results of in-depth interviews and questionnaires. The report summarizes the salient features of different user groups of the platform, the willingness, inclination and evaluation of using the platform, the reasons for the migration of lost users, etc., which helps the client to fully understand the development space of the platform.
