New York, New York; February 4, 2021 – GLG, the world’s insight network, today named Jay Chakrapani as Chief Product Officer. He joins GLG’s global leadership team and will report directly to CEO Paul Todd. As Chief Product Officer, Chakrapani will oversee the engineering teams who are creating the tools and experiences to help provide best-in-class service to GLG’s clients and experts.

Chakrapani joins GLG with extensive experience building and leading commercially oriented technology teams. He was most recently Chief Technology Officer for Trilogy Education Services at online learning platform 2U, and previously held senior roles at Barnes and Noble Education, CK-12 Foundation, McGraw-Hill Higher Education, and other companies. Chakrapani holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Oregon Health and Science University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
