New York, New York; November 30, 2023 – GLG, the world’s insight network, has earned a score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s 2023 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s foremost benchmark of corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality. The HRC Foundation has designated GLG as the recipient of the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion alongside some of the world’s top businesses. The full report is available online at www.hrc.org/cei.

GLG is the world’s insight network, bringing decision makers the insight it takes to get ahead. GLG’s network of experts is the most diverse, dynamic, and senior membership of its kind, with thousands of new experts recruited every week. GLG has served the world’s leading investors, consultants, and corporate decision makers for 25 years.

“The very basis of GLG is rooted in the immense value found in individual perspectives and experiences,” said CEO Gemma Postlethwaite. “Fostering an inclusive environment that plays to the different strengths of all members of our diverse teams is integral to who we are, and we’re proud to be recognized for it by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.”

The CEI is an annual initiative of the HRC Foundation, the largest LGBTQ+ civil rights organization in the world. The CEI rigorously assesses company performance on a range of criteria under key central pillars: non-discrimination policies, equitable benefits for workers and their families, transgender-inclusive health benefits, inclusive culture, outreach and engagement efforts to the broader LGBTQ+ community, and corporate social responsibility work.

Diversity, equity, and inclusion are central to GLG’s policies and cultural values, as well as to GLG’s award-winning Social Impact work, which delivers GLG’s platform and services to the social sector. Over the years, GLG has consistently taken steps to create a safe and welcoming environment where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. GLG’s LGBTQIA+ Diversity Network (ERG) hosts and sponsors Pride events around the globe and holds educational discussions with influential LGBTQ+ leaders. In 2023, GLG also launched a partnership with myGwork, the world’s largest platform and professional network for the LGBTQIA+ business community, as part of our efforts to make DE&I a core tenant of our hiring practices.

“Creating a workplace where all employees across our locations globally are empowered to bring their true selves to work and thrive is mission critical for GLG,” said GLG Chief Human Resources Officer Lee Gavin. “We invest great attention and resources to cultivate this environment and are always looking for opportunities to do even better, so it’s an honor to earn recognition from an organization so dedicated to equity as the HRC Foundation.”
