GLG\u2019s \u201cInsights with Impact\u201d report, focused on mitigating implicit racial bias in U.S. healthcare, awarded honorable mention in Pandemic Response category<\/em><\/p>\n

GLG\u2019s second Fast Company honor, following recognition of its Social Impact Partners Program in 2020<\/em><\/p>\n

New York, New York; May 3, 2022<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 GLG<\/a>, the world\u2019s insight network, has been recognized by Fast<\/em> Company<\/em>\u2019s 2022 \u201cWorld Changing Ideas Awards\u201d for its \u201cInsights with Impact\u201d report, which convened experts to create a roadmap for organizations to mitigate implicit racial bias in U.S. healthcare. The report won honorable mention in the Pandemic Response category, and will be commemorated in Fast Company<\/em>\u2019s summer issue, on newsstands May 10.<\/p>\n

GLG is the world\u2019s insight network, bringing decision makers the insight it takes to get ahead. GLG\u2019s network of experts is the world\u2019s largest and most varied source of first-hand expertise, with thousands of new experts recruited every week. The effort and report was spearheaded by GLG Social Impact<\/a>, the company\u2019s award-winning initiative that supports nonprofits, social enterprises, foundations, and philanthropies to help solve the world\u2019s most urgent challenges. In 2020, GLG was honored by Fast Company<\/em>\u2019s \u201cWorld Changing Ideas Awards\u201d for its Social Impact Partners Program, which empowers all GLG employees to nominate a nonprofit for pro bono GLG support.<\/p>\n

\u201cGLG\u2019s purpose is to get decision makers the right expertise to solve their greatest challenges \u2013 which is why we\u2019ve mobilized our resources throughout the pandemic toward helping to identify solutions,\u201d said GLG CEO Paul Todd. \u201cThis report is one of many ways that we\u2019ve worked with organizations across sectors to leverage the insights of our experts to promote public health.\u201d<\/p>\n

Fast Company <\/em>recognized GLG\u2019s \u201cInsights with Impact\u201d report for its ingenuity, scalability, and potential for impact. In response to the racial disparities in health outcomes from COVID-19 and in healthcare more broadly, GLG convened experts with decades of experience in public health, healthcare, and racial equity advocacy to collaboratively create a roadmap for organizations to diagnose, measure, and combat the effects of implicit racial bias on health outcomes. GLG then hosted a virtual roundtable discussion open to other experts and policymakers featuring the panelists, and publicly shared the report.<\/p>\n
