The awards honor purpose-driven organizations that are \u201cmaking strides towards a better world for people, the planet, and the global economy.\u201d The COVID-19 response category considered large-scale organizations based on innovation, scale, and overall impact of their relief efforts.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-29958\" src=\"https:\/\/glginsights.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/GGA-2021-Logo-Master-300x135.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"270\" \/><\/p>\n<p>In 2020, GLG mobilized its substantial resources to support organizations working on the frontlines of COVID-19. We provided pro bono support to more than 135 organizations in over 40 countries, which collectively reach more than 100M people. GLG\u2019s services helped nonprofit and government organizations protect temperature-sensitive vaccine supply chains, manufacture and distribute PPE, conduct contact tracing in countries with less-developed health systems, and more. GLG also helped the business community safely and smartly navigate the pandemic by hosting more than 3,000 virtual expert events on practically every topic.<\/p>\n<p>Unilever and Aviva placed first and second in the category, respectively.
