We\u2019re looking for a curious Data Operations Engineer with 2\u20133 years\u2019 experience to join our Data Operations team and keep the data that powers GLG flowing reliably. You\u2019ll pair with other engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to build, operate, and troubleshoot the pipelines and integrations that move data across our systems.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Build, run, and maintain data pipelines, imports, and integrations that feed GLG\u2019s platforms and reporting.<\/li>\n<li>Write and optimize SQL to move, transform, and validate data across sources.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor scheduled jobs, triage failures, and resolve data-quality and data-accuracy issues.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn business needs into reliable data deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code and queries.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to runbooks, documentation, and operational best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Stay curious about new tools and approaches \u2014 we\u2019ll train you on our stack as you grow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>An ideal candidate will have the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2\u20133 years of experience in a data operations, data engineering, or similar data-focused role.<\/li>\n<li>Strong SQL and a solid understanding of relational databases.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in a scripting language (Python preferred) for data manipulation and automation.<\/li>\n<li>Solid grasp of data fundamentals \u2014 modeling, transformation, data quality.<\/li>\n<li>An inquisitive, generalist mindset \u2014 eager to learn systems end-to-end rather than staying in one niche.<\/li>\n<li>Experience using Claude, Copilot, Opencode and other AI toolsets.<\/li>\n<li>Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in an iterative, collaborative environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred (or willing to train):<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake).<\/li>\n<li>Workflow orchestration (e.g., Airflow).<\/li>\n<li>Search\/indexing platforms (e.g., OpenSearch).<\/li>\n<li>AWS cloud platform, CI\/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"content-pay-transparency\">\n<div class=\"pay-input\">\n<div class=\"description\">\n<p><strong>What We Offer:&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Benefits: <\/strong>All U.S. GLGers also have access to benefits such as<strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Comprehensive medical, dental and vision coverage effective on your first day of employment<\/li>\n<li>Flexible paid time off.
