Business Unit: <\/strong>Finance, Accounting <\/p>\n

Work Location:<\/strong> Gurugram with a minimum of 3 days per week work from office <\/p>\n

Shift Timing:<\/strong> 3:30 PM IST to 12:30 AM IST <\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong> <\/p>\n

We are currently looking for a Senior Associate for our Accounts Receivable team. We are seeking a dynamic and self-motivated individual with excellent customer service as well as strong communication skills. This role will report to the Accounts Receivable Manager within the Accounting Department and will focus primarily on accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application. The Senior Associate will also support the accounting department by assisting in answering clients\u2019 questions, working with the Sales team and helping with the closing process.  This is an excellent opportunity to join our dynamic, global organization, for a qualified individual who shares our values of learning and curiosity, responsibility, fresh perspectives, and integrity. <\/p>\n

 Key Responsibilities includes but not limited to<\/strong> <\/p>\n

    \n
  1. General <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      \n
    • Assist the manager in managing the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, collections, and cash application. <\/li>\n
    • Ensure timely and accurate recording of customer payments in the company’s accounting system.<\/li>\n
    • Reconcile customer accounts and resolve any discrepancies.<\/li>\n
    • Prepare and analyse accounts receivable reports.<\/li>\n
    • Communicate with customers to resolve any billing or payment issues.<\/li>\n
    • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to resolve customer complaints.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain accurate records of all customer accounts and interactions.<\/li>\n
    • Review SFDC sales queue of autogenerated invoices & change requests.<\/li>\n
    • Maintain invoicing instructions & assist with timesheet management.<\/li>\n
    • Assist the Corporate Accounting Team with timely month-end accruals and account reconciliations. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

            2.\u202fControls & Compliance <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      • Support compliance with key internal controls related to owned accounts and processes. <\/li>\n
      • Coordinate with external auditors related to owned accounts and processes ensuring complete, timely and accurate responses to information requests. <\/li>\n
      • Continuously evaluate internal controls in light of changing systems\/processes and work with Manager to identify and implement necessary control changes.  <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

              3. Process Improvement <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

          \n
        • Assist in the identification of improvement opportunities with a focus on simplification, standardization, and optimization, especially the reduction of manual, Excel-based activities. <\/li>\n
        • Assist with driving change management by working with IT and other key stakeholders related to any associated changes. <\/li>\n
        • Assist in the implementation of on-going process improvement initiatives. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                 4. Annual Audit & Financial Reporting <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

            \n
          • Support information flow between the AR Team, external auditors and other internal and external partners. <\/li>\n
          • Adhere to internal or external reporting timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

                  5. Other <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

              \n
            • Collaborate with inter and intra departments where required and appropriate. <\/li>\n
            • Strengthen and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. <\/li>\n
            • Prepare reports\/analyses and participate in other projects as needed. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

               Position Requirements:<\/strong> <\/p>\n

                \n
              • Bachelor\u2019s degree in commerce\/accounting or semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with 5+ years of post-qualification experience. <\/li>\n
              • Ability to coach the new team members. <\/li>\n
              • Experience of working in public accounting firms or global capability centers will be preferred. <\/li>\n
              • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures <\/li>\n
              • Attention to detail and problem-solving ability. <\/li>\n
              • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines. <\/li>\n
              • Excellent knowledge of MS office. <\/li>\n
              • Candidate with the Knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains, Sales force, Lockstep, Workday ERP & HighRadius will be preferred.  <\/li>\n
              • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
