TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 80 senior executives from sneaker retail companies across the US, Europe (UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy), and China.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents discussed the upcoming trends in the sneaker market, as well as the outlook for the latest sneakers like the Puma Speedcat and Adidas Adizero EVO SL.
  • The survey also explored the risks to sneaker market growth and the signs that a particular sneaker model or style has reached market saturation.
  • Lastly, experts shared their views on the ‘rookie’ sneaker brands with the most expected growth, and the innovation and sales trends considered most important for sneaker success in the next 3 years.

Examples of findings:

  • 55% of the experts agree that collaborations with fashion brands as well as with artists and music assets will become the most impactful trend over the next 3 years.
  • Over four-in-ten (44%) experts are satisfied with Puma’s Speedcat sell-through performance and believe it could become a trend.
  • Nike and Adidas could become the most affected brands after the implementation of the new US tariff policy, according to nearly four-in-five (79%) respondents.
