TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 radiology directors, radiographers and medical physicists working in hospitals and clinics across the US, and Europe (UK, Italy, Spain, France, and Germany).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents assessed the standard of care methods, techniques, and configurations for various radiology equipment and discussed their portability.
  • The survey explored the impact of AI on radiology equipment and the challenges faced while integrating AI.
  • Lastly, the research gathered the experts’ views on the future costs of radiology equipment with advancements in technology, and their preferred methods for calculating ROI on equipment.

Examples of findings:

  • 33% of respondents reported the annual budget for maintaining/purchasing new equipment is more than $500K.
  • 29% of experts expect the biggest impact of AI integration to be in mammography machines.
  • 43% of respondents anticipate a shift towards radiology as a service for certain types of equipment, like portable machines.

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Phil Wu, Diagnostic Radiologist at Vantage Radiology and Diagnostic Services.

Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the Network Survey.
