SURVEY DETAILS
TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 105 senior executives from the Oil & Gas industry and Automotive industry in US and Europe (UK, Germany, Italy, France and Spain).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • The research gathered the experts’ views on the future of the Oil & Gas industry in light of the implications electric vehicles may have on this space.
  • Furthermore, the survey provided valuable insights into the upcoming EV charging stations and the range of facilities they will offer.
  • Lastly, respondents quantified the uptake of electric vehicles going forward and the impact this may have on equipment suppliers and automotive OEMs.

Examples of findings:

  • Nearly four-in-ten (39%) experts believe that big oil companies are somewhat likely to reduce the amount of gas/diesel fuel pumps by 2030.
  • 49% of total experts believe that by 2025 charging an EV with 300km of range will take between 21 to 30 minutes.
  • Over half (55%) of respondents believing that EV will pose a constraint in energy production, agree that such constraint will be moderate.
