TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 CFOs across the US and Europe (Italy, UK, Germany, Spain, and France).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents shared their insights on the trade relations between the United States and China in the coming 3 years and the impact of ongoing regional conflicts on revenue, profit, and supply chain.
  • Furthermore, the survey also investigated the recent price trends at the country level, particularly in the context of heightened geopolitical risks.
  • Lastly, they shared their insights on how the current trade tensions and the rise of artificial intelligence are expected to impact business operations.

Examples of findings:

  • 56% of respondents believe that trade relations between China and the USA will prolong instability and hostility with a significant threat of a trade war over the next 3 years.
  • Over four-in-ten (45%) experts partially agree that labour shortages will impact the revenue of many businesses.
  • 53% percent of experts who believe that trade tensions will rise further stated that these tensions will have a moderate impact on their operations.

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Kil Dosanjh, former Chief Economist at 4CAST – Roubini Global Economics.
