TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 restaurant/bar/pub buyers of alcoholic beverages across the US and Europe (UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents assessed the current outlook of the market versus pre-COVID-19 volumes and customer spending preferences in 2023 vs 2022.
  • Respondents commented on their alcoholic beverage sales over the last 12 months.
  • Lastly, experts provided their projections on alcoholic beverages’ prices and their forecast for “to-go” vs “consumed on the premises” sales in the next 6 months.

Examples of findings:

  • In April 2024, over seven-in-ten declared whiskey (77%) and gin (71%) sales increased in 2023 compared to pre-COVID-19.
  • 64% respondents believe to-go cocktail sales will increase in Q2 2024.
  • 43% respondents agreed that functional drinks are believed to have the most positive net impact on alcohol consumption in the past 12 months.

Deliverables
