SURVEY DETAILS
TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 100 senior executives (supply chain, procurement and logistics) of aviation manufacturing companies across US, Europe and Asia.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents shared insights into the aviation supply chain landscape, including the impact of recent tariffs and trade barriers on raw material sourcing, delivery timelines, and input costs.
  • Furthermore, the survey examined procurement challenges, contract renegotiations, the evolving role of geopolitical risk in logistics planning, and the projected normalization timeline of the supply chain.
  • Lastly, the research explored aftermarket and MRO dynamics, with expectations of moderate demand growth and emerging capacity shortages in regions like China and US.

Examples of findings:

  • Over three-in-four (76%) stated that companies are renegotiating contracts as their current sourcing strategy.
  • Raw materials sourcing is considered the area most impacted by tariffs, as stated by more than three-in-ten experts (34%).
  • Cybersecurity and data privacy concerns are a key barrier to digitizing the aviation supply chain, as stated by almost six-in-ten (59%) of those who believe that AI and predictive analytics are used in the supply chain or MRO.
