TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 IT professionals working in the engineering, architecture, technology and construction industry across the US and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Spain and Italy). This is the second iteration in this tracker series.

 

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents shared perspectives on the current adoption and usage of AI across the engineering, architecture, technology, and construction sectors.
  • The survey also explored how companies calculate the return on investment (ROI) from AI initiatives, along with strategies being implemented to maximize these returns.
  • Lastly, the survey discussed how AI is being integrated into design workflows today, and offered their outlook on the role and potential impact of AI over the next decade in their respective industries.

 

Examples of findings:

  • Close to three-in-four (73%) respondents use AI for automated content generation.
  • 43% of experts started the AI integration into the design process and 76% stated their organizations perceive increased efficiency when using AI.
  • Nearly eight-in-ten (79%) experts consider productivity improvements when evaluating AI solution’s ROI.

 

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, William Fong, former Global Solution Strategy Director – AI Digital Transformation at Microsoft.

  • 1 x Individual responses (“raw data”) in Excel.
  • 1 x PPT report with aggregated data.
  • Executive summary with key takeaways and highlights from the raw data.

  • What are the challenges your organization faced while integrating AI into design workflow?
  • What is the annual budget that is allocated for AI solutions?
