Please complete the form below to request access to the survey data.

GLG interviewed 50 vet owners, practice managers and clinical directors across Europe (UK, France, Italy, Spain, and Germany).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents discussed the current demand, trends and COVID-19 impact on the industry.
  • The survey also investigated the changes in the space particularly regarding consolidation.
  • Lastly, the research analysed the competitive landscape of Vet Clinics such as CVS, IVC and Vetpartners.

Examples of findings:

  • Almost all respondents (88%) stated they expect to see further consolidation among the largest veterinary chains, with more than half (56%) stating this is extremely likely.
  • Staffing appears to be a problem within the industry at current, with 94% describing ongoing issues as ‘major’ or ‘severe’.
  • 100% of our experts believe that pet ownership volumes have increased over the past 3 years, with 72% stating these have increased significantly.

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Barry Brackner, former Executive at CVS.

The standard deliverable includes:
