GLG interviewed 85 cybersecurity resellers of Palo Alto, Fortinet, Symantec, Z-Scaler or Juniper across Europe, US, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and UAE. This is the third survey to follow the first one conducted in March 2021 and second one in October 2021.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • These respondents commented on the current market demand and future outlook for 2022 and provided a competitive assessment of the cybersecurity providers (including endpoint, identity and access management and network security solutions).
  • The survey also gathered insights into the current challenges the enterprises are facing due to COVID-19 and 100% remote work.
  • Lastly, the respondents provided insight into customers key evaluation criteria when selecting a security solutions provider.

Examples of findings:

  • Over 70% of respondents continue to say COVID-19 has had a significant positive impact on the cybersecurity market, driven primarily by the continued prevalence of remote working.
  • Almost eight in ten believe security budgets will grow by more than 5% in 2022, and two-thirds believe organisations will move towards outsourced managed security services.
  • When asked what key challenges and factors will be driving the cybersecurity market in 2022, 80% selected “increase in cybersecurity threats”, followed by “increase in business priority for cybersecurity” (69%).

DELIVERABLES

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, William Floyd, current CIO/CTO at Maxxsure, LLC.
