TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 3300 beer consumers across the US and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents discussed their frequency of drinking beer, monthly spend and factors for selecting the beer.
  • Furthermore, the survey also looked into the most consumed beer brands and preferences for the purchase of those brands.
  • Lastly, consumers commented on their preference for the location of drinking beer.

Examples of findings:

  • Heineken (56%) is the most consumed beer brand followed by Corona (48%).
  • Almost half of the respondents (44% in the US and 53% in Europe) selected Amazon as their preferred online website for purchasing beer.
  • More than one-in-two respondents selected Taste (55%) and Price (51%) as the factors influencing the choice of beer.

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, John Ebbitt, former Managing Director at Gulf Distributing Holdings.

If the survey is not included within your subscription, GLG will invoice Client for the fees due for the Network Survey. Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the Network Survey.
