SURVEY DETAILS
TARGET POPULATION

GLG surveyed 70 executives from producers/sellers of ammonia across the US and Europe (UK, Italy, France, Germany and Spain).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents commented on the current and future outlook of availability of grey, blue and green ammonia, as well as outlook on investment on increased capacity for ammonia in the coming years, including regions where investment in new capacity is most expected.
  • The research also looked into the current costs and prices attributed to grey, blue and green ammonia respectively, as well as the future outlook on their cost and price in the coming five years.
  • Lastly, the survey captured current sales level and the expected demand for ammonia in the next five years, as well as the barriers and enablers for growth of green ammonia.

Examples of findings:

  • Nearly all respondents expect green (99%) and blue (96%) ammonia availability to increase in the next 5 years.
  • MENA (91%) and Asia (90%) are the most expected regions to have new capacity built for green ammonia.
  • Nearly nine-in-ten (86%) expect green ammonia costs and price to decrease in the next 5 years.
