He joins GLG\u2019s global leadership team and will report directly to CEO Paul Todd. As Chief Product Officer, Chakrapani will oversee the engineering teams who are creating the tools and experiences to help provide best-in-class service to GLG\u2019s clients and experts.<\/p>\n<p>GLG is the world\u2019s insight network, bringing decision makers the insight it takes to get ahead. GLG\u2019s network is the world\u2019s largest, with thousands of new experts recruited every week.<\/p>\n<p>Chakrapani joins GLG with extensive experience building and leading commercially oriented technology teams. He was most recently Chief Technology Officer for Trilogy Education Services at online learning platform 2U, and previously held senior roles at Barnes and Noble Education, CK-12 Foundation, McGraw-Hill Higher Education, and other companies. Chakrapani holds an M.S. in Computer Science from Oregon Health and Science University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGLG combines great client service with superior technology to deliver the gold standard in our industry to clients,\u201d said Todd. \u201cJay brings a deep understanding of engineering together with a focus on the living, breathing realities of running a business.
