Using AI to Make Cities Safer

By virtue of their wealth of public data, big cities could benefit greatly from new developments in AI and machine learning, argues Yale Fox, CEO of Rentlogic, a company using predictive algorithms to catch problems before they occur in the New York City rental market. The key, Fox believes, is aggregating data sets across both public and private institutions to increase transparency and better serve renters and landlords alike.
