Content Associate (Capital Markets)

Gurugram, India

 About the role

GLG Events delivers market-moving insights by leveraging the perspectives of senior industry professionals across global markets. Through thousands of live and virtual conversations each year, GLG equips the world’s leading financial institutions with timely, differentiated intelligence required to make informed investment decisions.

The Content Growth Team (CGT) in Gurugram is a strategically important group responsible for expanding GLG’s Library of expert interview transcripts. These conversations provide institutional investors across Public Equity, Private Equity, Credit, and Venture, with deep, actionable perspectives on companies, sectors, supply chains, and macro/industry trends.

We are seeking a Content Associate with strong capital markets intuition to research, curate, design, and conduct expert interviews that directly support investor decision-making. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in financial research or market analysis who enjoy breaking down complex industries and translating expert perspectives into investor-relevant insights.

The ideal candidate has sharp research instincts, an understanding of how investors evaluate sectors and companies, and an ability to guide expert conversations toward what matters for fundamentals, competitive dynamics, and forward-looking risk/reward.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Contribute to editorial development and theme selection for capital markets–relevant conversations.
  • Identify, research, and analyze company, sector, and macro trends that influence investor positioning and market sentiment.
  • Use strong editorial judgment to select high-value topics and experts who can speak credibly to business models, competitive landscapes, and industry inflection points.
  • Apply a capital-markets lens to all interviews; prioritizing insights on fundamentals, earnings drivers, supply and demand dynamics, margin pressures, cost structures, regulatory changes, and competitive strategy.
  • Independently structure and conduct 45–60 minute expert interviews, guiding the conversation toward high-value insights while asking thoughtful follow-up questions.
  • Execute GLG’s investor-focused content strategy, ensuring all content meets GLG’s high editorial, quality, and compliance standards.
  • Manage multiple content projects simultaneously with high workflow discipline, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate digital awareness and adaptability in using AI-driven tools to enhance research depth, accuracy, and insight generation
  • Coordinate speaker honoraria and maintain strong professional relationships with senior experts.

An ideal candidate will have the following attributes:

  • 1–3 years of experience in equity research, credit research, financial journalism, consulting research, business research, or industry roles involving analysis of markets, companies, or business models.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, including how investors think about revenue drivers, margin trends, guidance, catalysts, competitive positioning, valuation factors, and risk frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly build knowledge across unfamiliar sectors and extract what is material for investor decision-making.
  • Skilled at crafting and leading detailed, dynamic expert interviews with senior executives, operators, regulators, and specialists.
  • Ability to work across the desired shift timings: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex themes clearly and professionally.
  • Digitally aware, comfortable adopting AI-led productivity tools and new workflows.
  • Exceptional project discipline and ability to manage a high volume of conversations and deadlines without compromising quality.
  • A collaborative, positive, and proactive mindset, with a desire to contribute to a high-performing, insight-driven team.
