Thakral will guide GLG\u2019s relationships and growth opportunities within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, and healthcare service sectors. Thakral joins GLG\u2019s global Life Sciences division with broad experience in management consulting and entrepreneurial healthcare ventures. He previously worked at McKinsey & Company, where he was an Associate Principal in the healthcare practice, counseling senior management and CEOs of global pharma and medical device companies on critical topics including growth, strategy, business development, go-to-market approach, commercial models, and product launches.<\/p>\n

Thakral received his undergraduate and masters degrees in biomedical engineering from The Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.\u00a0Additionally, he is a Co-Founder and serves on the Board of Directors of the Newark Mentoring Movement.<\/p>\n
