GLG took the idea of water cooler chat and caffeinated it instead with a coffee bar.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur previous offices had a very standard layout, so our goal with this redesign was to transform the experience of working in our space for our 400 employees,\u201d explains Richard Socarides, head of public affairs. \u201cWe implemented activity-based working, which is a different concept from hot desking. We created a dynamic multiplicity of environments for people to work in.
