  • 2500 consumers were interviewed on past and future habits in attending theme parks
  • The survey investigates the impact that COVID-19 has had on consumer preferences toward attending theme parks in the current climate.
  • Additionally, this survey explored the factors that might influence consumers to return to theme parks in the future.


The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Dan Aylward, current president of Worldwide Leisure Management.

The standard deliverable, includes:

  • 1 x Individual responses (“raw data”), in Excel.
  • 1 x PPT report with aggregated data.


  • How likely are you going to visit an amusement park, theme park or water park in the next summer, if opened?
  • Which of the following do you consider to be obstacles to visiting an amusement park, theme park or water park in the future?
  • Assuming the vaccine is readily available and widely distributed and the governmental officials have declared COVID 19 under control, what amusement, theme park or water park would you consider visiting within a 12 month period
  • Please tell us how much you agree with the following statement: “I expect COVID 19 will be under control next summer”?


This survey is available to subscribers of the Consumer Goods and Services (CGS) sector (Limited subscriptions and above).

  • For those with a subscription not including the above, cost of the survey is $5,000 USD. This offer includes the raw data file and a high-level presentation through PowerPoint.
  • A more detailed set of cross-tabulation tables (i.e. comparison of the data in different segmentation groups such as country, age, gender, etc.) will be provided upon request for an additional charge of $1,500 USD.

Once confirmed, please note that the Client’s agreement to purchase the Network Survey is a legally binding and irrevocable commitment. If the survey is not included within your subscription, GLG will invoice Client for the fees due for the Network Survey. Please note that some respondents may not be Network Members, and the Terms and Conditions of Network Membership would not apply to such respondents and detailed records for them will not be available aside from the information that GLG capture in the Network Survey.
