Greater Change

Greater Change provides people experiencing homelessness with personalized, direct cash grants to help them increase their financial resilience and overcome homelessness for good.

  • The Project: With ambitious goals to multiply their impact tenfold over the next 2-3 years, Greater Change sought to better understand how to build networks across the charity sector and clearly encapsulate their mission and impact to potential partners and funders.
  • The Outcome: GLG connected Greater Change with institutional philanthropy directors, executives at similar nonprofits, and charity consultants, whose insights helped the team define their roadmap with clarity, direction, and confidence.

First Tech Fund

First Tech Fund provides low-income high school students with free technology, skills training, and mentorship to empower them in identifying, navigating, and attaining academic and professional opportunities. GLG has partnered with First Tech Fund since they were founded by a former GLG employee in 2020 to help the nonprofit develop stronger corporate partnerships, professionalize their HR organization, and enhance their brand.

“GLG connected us with experts who have advised both small and large companies on these topics. They helped us develop a process for moving forward, including how best to leverage insights and how to do so mindfully. We’re grateful for these conversations, which will enable us to be smarter in how we grow our organization over the next few years.”

Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation

Blue Dragon provides holistic support for Vietnamese children and families affected by human trafficking – including immediate relief, like access to safe shelter and legal advocacy, and longer-term support, like school initiatives and system change efforts.

  • The Project: As Blue Dragon planned to expand their fundraising efforts to Australia and the United States, they needed expert guidance on how to identify, engage, and retain potential donors, as well as tailor their messaging to these new communities.
  • The Outcome: GLG connected Blue Dragon with fundraising and philanthropy experts at similarly sized nonprofits with operations in the target geographies. These conversations helped Blue Dragon develop concrete next steps for approaching new donors and further cultivating existing relationships.

In 2023, more than 250 of our employees leveraged GLG Partners, facilitating 500+ expert conversations for 125+ organizations around the world.
