Job Summary

The Global Mobility team provides an efficient and high-quality service to support the Business with international assignments and transfers. The role of the Global Mobility team is critical in delivering strategic and operational excellence globally. Senior Associate, Global Mobility will partner with Global Mobility Director to develop and improve GLG’s programs, policies and administration of the mobility process to meet business needs. This is individual contributor role based in Gurugram.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Helping in providing strategies for global transfer policy. Work on implementation of Global transfer policy.
  • Establish and monitor the appropriate visa management control points to ensure necessary compliance which includes tracking of visa and work permit validity, renewal & cancellation.
  • Liaise with external vendors to support Immigration, Tax, Payroll and relocation matters for local new hires and international transferees.
  • Calculate financial aspects of transfers including cost projections and mobility stipend
  • Track and report mobility related costs
  • Handle challenging questions/requests from the Business and employees
  • Prepare documentation, e.g. assignment / relocation letters
  • Supporting business through assignment life cycle of planning, pre assignment, during assignment and end of assignment with extensions/repatriation or localization and the applicable processes.
  • Point of contact for Global transfers and performing end to end global mobility functions including responding to phone calls, giving inputs to internal teams for data management, addressing their queries etc.
  • Brainstorming to help set up a process involved for Global mobility policy and streamlining the process.
  • Detailed review of invoices received from vendors, tracking, and processing it for payment.

 An ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher with 4 to 6 years of global mobility related experience
  • Excellent systems skills including high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience of working on compensation calculators and tax is preferred
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail; strong drive for results
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Data management skills
  • Proactive, able to work independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, handle multiple tasks and concurrent projects simultaneously
  • Understanding of country specific immigration rules and visa processes for some countries outside of India
