The Associate, Systems Administrator is responsible for conference call quality and conference vendor management at GLG within Scheduling Engineering.  This role supports conference call scheduling, execution, quality monitoring, and managing telecom vendors. 

The Problems You’ll Solve  

  • Improve GLG Conference Call Quality – Through feedback and software, you will measure conference line quality. You will create reports on ongoing line quality and help improve the line quality to prevent call cancellations.  
  • Improve Vendor Relations – You will be the primary geographic contact at our telecom vendors. You will provision/terminate lines and manage line data within GLG systems along with the vendor relationship.  You will manage rolling use of numbers, establish new numbers, and assist the IT organization with contract renewal. 
  • Country Line Verification – You will complete country line certifications directly or with the assistance of vendors. 
  • Audio Branding – You will work with Clients to create new audio prompts for their calls, create custom audio from scripts, and deploy audio into the call system. 

You will…   

  • Be accountable for measurable improvements in conference call quality. 
  • Design solutions within Scheduling Engineering to report call quality, line provisioning/termination, and gather call feedback. 
  • Handle requests outside of standard business hours and on weekends as needed 
  • Navigate requests with varying compliance requirements and client-specific preferences 
  • Discover how systems work and address user experience details often overlooked by engineers

  • Superior communication and interaction skills, including demonstrated oral and written abilities 
  • Demonstrated commitment and attention to detail in a high-volume, fast-paced environment 
  • Strong problem-solving skills 
  • Passion for fast-paced learning, especially in a technology-enabled environment 
  • Ability to communicate and manage relationships across the full professional spectrum including senior colleagues and extremely senior outside professionals 
  • Interest in building a business and in all business-building related activities 
  • Experience working with online ticketing systems (i.e., Zendesk) 
  • Experience with and comfort in custom configuration of software systems. (e.g. system administration) 
  • Ability to think creatively and focus on opportunities for growth
