We are seeking a sales performer to join our Private Equity practice in Singapore and help us grow our loyal client base. This is a role for someone who is a hunter and hungry for new business success. Responsibilities include generating new business in new accounts and expanding the footprint inside current client firms.

This is a role for someone who can see the value of expert insights and who can be a combination of a salesperson and evangelist to further build the GLG brand and mindshare into the private equity sector in Southeast Asia. On top of your own business development, you will be working closely with the Client Solutions team and other functions to drive opportunities in existing client firms. 

An experience working with Financial Institutions in Singapore is preferred. A strong business acumen and your ability to inspire and articulate business value is key to your success. This is an exceptional opportunity for someone who is entrepreneurial and aspires to a career in business development.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and execute a plan to achieve sales- and outreach quota.
  • Generate new subscription sales with private equity firms in Southeast Asia.
  • Drive service adoption with key accounts via workshops, client meetings, and event outreach.
  • Build a network of relationships across the private equity industry.
  • Collaborate closely with the private equity team and other functions.
  • Forecast sales activity and revenue achievement in Salesforce.
  • Support the subscription renewal process.

Goals and expectations

  • Exceed target for new subscription sales and user outreach.
  • Prospect for new business via phone, email and in-person meetings.
  • Conduct phone outreach to grow usage of services and attendance to GLG events.
  • Build a network of relationships across the private equity industry.


  • A hunter who is hungry for new business success.
  • Must have a strong desire to constantly engage with clients.
  • Must have a business proficiency in English and Mandarin.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in Sales or a Client-facing role 
  • A passion to persuade via excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in carrying quota and closing deals an advantage.
  • Self-motivated and works well independently.

Evaluation, compensation, and benefits

We offer a competitive base salary and a performance-based, discretionary bonus.
