GLG is seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the Data processing Team in Gurugram, India. “Manager/Asst. Manager - DP” will join a growing DP Team and will collaborate with the global teams to serve GLG’s sophisticated client base, which includes top institutional investment firms, top-tier consulting firms, non-profit organizations, and Fortune 1000 companies.

 

“Manager/Asst. Manager - DP” will be responsible for driving the team to deliver standard and customized reports in a specified SLA with quality across various industry verticals and clients. This position requires a person with strong analytical bent of mind and zeal to deep dive into minute details to ensure quality of the deliverables. Also, the person should have excellent written & verbal communication skills along with good experience in handling stake holders/ clients across different geographies. Candidate should be able to handle the team, keep them motivated and lead for all sorts of technical challenges/ skill set enhancements.

  

Key Responsibilities:  

 Working with the Data Programming as a Manager/ Asst. Manager will be responsible for… 

 

  • Managing DP team in night shift to support EST/ PST time zone-based clients
  • Job Allocation and manage the workflow to ensure timely delivery
  • Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Execution of DP request independently and solving team’s technical queries
  • Managing escalations/queries from Project Managers/ Clients or internal stakeholders
  • Ensure that deliverables are as per the GLG quality and client standards.
  • Engage the team to ensure that team’s motivation level is high.
  • Keep an eye to ensure that internal process/ guidelines are followed.
  • Maintain healthy working relationship across the teams.
  • Supporting supervisors in reporting and data preparation.

For this position, we seek applicants with a bachelor’s degree from top-tier colleges or universities, or equivalent work experience in a related field. 

 

The following factors will strengthen an applicant’s candidacy: 

 

  • 10+ year of related Experience
    • Willing to work during US hours (India-night shift) and over the weekends/Holidays if required.
  • Excellent knowledge in Data processing and management.
  • Experience in Q-software/ WinCross is an added advantage.
  • Working experience in SPSS along with basic programming skills is a must.
  • Strong knowledge in Excel, PowerPoint and basics of Statistics.
